Our Privacy Statement
IslandsCareers.com is committed to protecting the privacy of clients and candidates. All information is processed in accordance with the Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law 2001.
We will use our best efforts to ensure that information submitted to us remains private and is used only for the purposes for which it is reasonably intended. All information that is no longer needed is deleted.
General information disclosure
We will not disclose information about your individual visits to this website or any personal information that you provide, such as name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, to any outside parties, except where we believe the law requires it. We may however, share information with other members of AP Group in any of the locations worldwide where we are represented. The AP Group of companies includes: AP Personnel, AP Executive, AP Commercial, AP Promote, AP Legal, AP Technical and AP Courses. We may at times use your information to contact you directly regarding new opportunities we have that you may be interested in. Right of access
If at any time you need to view the personal data we hold on you, please contact us in writing (no emails accepted) to our Guernsey office (see below for the address) with details of the information required, sufficient identification information and £10 to cover the fee. We will respond to you within 60 calendar days.

Cookies

Terms and Conditions of Use
1. Definitions: The following terms have the following meanings:
- ‘Contract’: the agreement for services entered into between the Customer and IslandsCareers.com comprising the Contract Form and these Terms and Conditions of Use
- ‘Fee’: the agreed one-off payment to be paid by the Customer to IslandsCareers.com immediately upon signing of the Contract for the Service as set out in the Contract Form
- ‘Period’: the period of time for which IslandsCareers.com provides the Service to the Customer as specified in the Contract Form
- ‘Service’: the service to be provided to the Customer by IslandsCareers.com to advertise the Customer’s recruitment requirement and relevant information on the IslandsCareers.com website at the ‘List of Companies Recruiting’ and, where requested, provide a link to the Customer’s website, [and where requested, provide access to the CV database of potential employees] as specified in the Contract Form
2. Provision and update of information:
(i) IslandsCareers.com shall provide the Customer with a unique password to access the IslandsCareers.com website for the purpose of placing the Customer’s information on the IslandsCareers.com website. The Customer shall provide accurate information and facts on the IslandsCareers.com website regarding the Customer’s requirements. The Customer shall be responsible for all information placed by the Customer on the IslandsCareers.com website and shall indemnify IslandsCareers.com at all times for any loss, expense or damage incurred by IslandsCareers.com as a result of the Customer’s actions or omissions.
(ii) IslandsCareers.com may review the information which the Customer intends to place or has placed on the IslandsCareers.com website. IslandsCareers.com reserves the right to refuse to place or may remove, amend or discontinue displaying any information which is in contravention of any legislation or regulations in force from time to time. IslandsCareers.com may discontinue displaying any customer information which IslandsCareers.com may consider to be contrary to the best interests of IslandsCareers.com. There shall be no refund if any customer information is refused or removed from display from the IslandsCareers.com website.
(iii) Where a link is provided to the Customer’s website or any other external website or link, IslandsCareers.com is not responsible for the content of the Customer’s website or any other website or link. The Customer is solely responsible for the information placed on the IslandsCareers.com website.
3. All Fees shall be payable by the Customer to IslandsCareers.com immediately following commencement of the Period and are non-refundable.
4. Should the Customer wish to cancel the Service provided under the Contract at any time during the Period, no part of the Fee is refundable to the Customer.
5. All Fees quoted for Service by IslandsCareers.com are valid for one month only from the date of the quote having been given to the Customer. The Fee is only valid for the Contract. Any subsequent agreement entered into between the Customer and IslandsCareers.com must be negotiated separately and therefore a different fee may apply.
6. If IslandsCareers.com does not receive payment by the due date, 14 days after receipt of invoice, IslandsCareers.com shall be entitled (without prejudice to any other remedies) to charge interest on all sums outstanding after the due date on a daily basis.
7. The Customer shall be liable for any legal or other costs incurred by IslandsCareers.com in pursuing any outstanding Fees or interest on late payment of Fees of the Customer.
8. If the Fee has not been received within thirty days following the commencement of the Period, then IslandsCareers.com may cease the Service provided to the Customer under the Contract.
9. IslandsCareers.com shall be entitled to make changes to the presentation, layout and functionality of the IslandsCareers.com website at any time.
10. IslandsCareers.com shall be entitled to change the prices or products on the IslandsCareers.com website at any time.
11. IslandsCareers.com shall be entitled to use the Customer’s logo and any other necessary intellectual property of the Customer in so far as the use thereof is required for IslandsCareers.com to provide the Service for the Customer.
12. IslandsCareers.com reserves the right to request changes to any content that is not in full compliance with legislation in the appropriate jurisdictions.
13. The Customer shall ensure that any information placed on the IslandsCareers.com website by the Customer shall comply with the requirements of all data protection legislation in force from time to time including without limitation the Data Protection Act, 2001.
14. The Customer shall ensure that any information placed on the IslandsCareers.com website by the Customer shall comply with the requirements of the employment equality legislation.
15. IslandsCareers.com provides the Service to enable the Customer to search for suitable potential employee profiles. IslandsCareers.com does not guarantee suitability or availability of potential employees. The Customer may select a potential employee based on its requirements and the consent of the potential employee through direct contact with the potential employee.
16. If there is a conflict between the Contract Form and these Terms and Conditions of Use, then the Contract Form prevails.
17. This Agreement is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Guernsey and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Guernsey courts.
18. IslandsCareers.com reserves the right to change Terms and Conditions as and when necessary.
